I was on the phone with one of my fellow vampires when my humanoid mother shows up saying "Guess what?"<br /> Simple enough question, right?? I thought so.<br /> "You, me, your sister, your sister's friend, her mother, and her (quite bitchy and insanely preppy) daughter are going to see Hairspray Live!" she exclaimed. Mind you that this is the night before my birthday. I'm ready to hit myself with the nearest blunt object.<br /> My friend hears, and tries to comfort me as my mother chides me for being "so juvenile". Yeah, right. Like my sister would go to see Dracula 2000 with me and my friends.<br /> Oh, and did I mention this ugly little tidbit? I bet not. The tickets cost my mother fifty-five dollars. Turkey and stuffing, yum! <br /><br />Well, other than the superb holiday, my novel is in the works. I'm currently at 132 pages, and very proud of it. "Untouched" (though I may, most likely, rename it later) is a vampire romance story (yes, I know, a bit cliched). Daniel and Chessie, as I named them, are my protagonists, the writers of my story. As I continue down the road of writerdom I will often ask for the opinions of my fellow bloggers.
